Ilija Djekic is an associate professor at the Department of Food Safety and Quality Management. He delivers lectures and performs research on quality and environmental topics in the food industry. During his research activities he participated in seven international and six national projects. Ilija Djekic has (co-)authored more than 150 manuscripts in international journals and conference proceedings. He also published three chapters and five books and serves as a reviewer for eight international peer-reviewed journals (80+ reviews). He has international experience in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, FYR of Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands and Turkey.
