Associate professor at University of Zadar since 2007. She obtained her degree at Biotechnology at the University of Zagreb in 1995. From 1995. to 2003. she was employed as research assistant at the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health -Zagreb. During this time she studied Toxicology at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb where she defended her PhD Theses. Her research topic include: optimisation of analytical methods and monitoring of toxic metals and persistent organic compounds. Lately she has been interested in Healthy Food and Healthy Eating. Her research resulted in 78 original scientific papers.

PhD Candidate at University of Split, School of medicine; she has many years of work experience as nurse and head nurse (paediatric, cardiology, urology, and neurosurgery experience) in General hospital Zadar, Zadar; at the moment she is a head nurse of paediatric department in General hospital Zadar, and at the same time she is nursing professor in University of Zadar, Department of Health Studies, Zadar; the author of textbook for nursing students "Nursing care for persons with disabilities" and more scientific and professional articles in area nursing, disability, palliative care and nutrition; the winner of the Special Rector's Award University of Split (2015); Zadar White Heart Award (2015) and Awards for the Promotion of Child Rights Republic of Croatia (2011)
