Kamil Bostan is the head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department at Istanbul Aydın University. He completed his undergraduate education in the field of Veterinary Medicine. He started his academic career in the food hygiene and technology department of the faculty he graduated from. For many years, he has carried out researches on the safety of food of animal origin, especially in this field. He has been interested in gastronomy for the last 7 years.
