Professor since 2009 in the UNICV, with the experience in teaching various subject, such as Organic Chemistry l, Organic Chemistry ll, Laboratory of Chemistry I, Laboratory of Chemistry II for the undergraduate courses in Food Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering and the subject of Organic Chemistry for the graduation in Biological Sciences. Therefore, since January 2017, Coordinates the undergraduate courses in Food Engineering and Chemical and Biological Engineering.

License degree in Food Science - food industry (2013) at the University of Algarve (Portugal), MSc in Food Science – food chemistry (2018) at Ocean University of China. Professor at University of Cape Verde since 2018, teaching subject as food hygiene and safety, food microbiology, sensory analysis, food packaging, development of new food products and technology of animal products for the undergraduate course in Food Engineering.
Author of research papers about Maillard Reaction and in vitro digestibility. Research interests include food chemistry, food processing, eating habits and nutrition, food safety and microbiology.
