PhD in Physiology, Pharmacology, and environmental health. Interested in natural products and their implication in human health following a multidisciplinary approach. He is currently spending a short stay as a research assistant at the institute of fats of The Spanish National Research Council.

Several peer-reviewed articles have been published: characterization and health assessment of natural products using conventional methods, and contribution to the new technologies such as the e-tongues and bioelectronic tools. Long-term focus is contributing to developing evidence-based research in the world of natural products.
